I repeat: running this program to get around trial software usually isn't possible. The program can be run as multiple instances, though for those looking to get around trial versions, RunAsDate will normally not help. In terms of user-friendliness, it's absolutely easy-to-use and running the program uses virtually zero in terms of system resources. It does not actually change the system date, just tricks applications into believing it was another time and date. All it does is change the system date virtually for whatever is being run. RunAsDate is a small, yet useful utility for a variety of different reasons. I have RunAsDate 1.16 and 1.3 been using both on a spare PC with mixed results.RunAsDate is a freeware utility by NirSoft which allows you to run programs (including installations) as if they were being executed on a specific date. You can close the tread I'll continue with in PM. The problem is it's getting hard to find these keys and now every process has one and if they are not tweaked to match the program goes unstable. I have not had luck with TimeStopper or Trial Reset, I've had better luck finding the registry key that is time stamped and replacing it with one I have tweaked. As far as defragmenting the registry IMO it's completely overrated I'll do it once it awhile, but the benefits are small and it'll take life out of a SSD if you get obsessive with it. The only reason I stopped using it is because it wouldn't let you whitelist some positives, but now that it does I like it mostly because I don't think there's a better firewall. I like ZoneAlarm because it is hyper aggressive. I'm using AOMEI backupper and the partition tool.

AOMEI.EXE?" You can also use RunAsDate from command-line, with the following syntax:

If executing an application from RunAsDate cause it to crash, you should turn off the 'Immediate Mode'. However, this mode can also cause troubles to some applications, especially if they were written in NET Starting from version 1.03, when the 'Immediate Mode' is turned on, RunAsDate inject the date/time immediately when the process starts, without waiting to the kernel loading.

This mean that some programs that get the date/time im very early stage, received the real current date/time, instead of the fake date/time of RunAsDate. In versions prior to 1.03, RunAsDate always waited until the kernel was fully loaded, and only then injected the desired date/time.
